Celestia is a cutting-edge blockchain known for modularity, with decentralized stakeholders spanning the globe. The Celestia team partnered with Blokhaus to help hone their brand identity for the fast-paced blockchain and fintech sector.

How

The Celestia team made one thing clear - this technical project wanted big creator energy without losing the deft touch of technological mastery. We delivered by turning their tech specs into works of art. We engaged 3D artist Vincent Schwenk to conceptualize the tech and make something beautiful to better connect with an engineers creative side. 

Why

Celestia needed a refreshed look to reach a broader crypto audience. Their brand craved simplicity, beauty, and a sense of possibility. They needed to move beyond a rudimentary system to assets that would pay dividends in their communications for years.

We interviewed a dozen Celestia stakeholders, from technical developers to brand marketing experts, to execute this brand refresh–we knew that the essence of the brand would come from those living it daily. We heard time and time again that Celestia wanted to deliver a message that would resonate with developers and play into their creative side, inspiring builders to think big. 

The brand features key assets to spotlight Celestia's unique capabilities in the blockchain world - from modularity to data availability and beyond. We kept it simple - market the logo but bring it to life in three-dimensional ways.

The visual direction is built to scale and designed to approach technical concepts with humor and accessibility in mind - space flowers and blob space visuals lay the foundation for a vibrant brand energy in the future.

Blokhaus built the Celestia site from the ground up, weaving in next-generation techniques and thoughtfully implementing full accessibility, industry-best practices, and future-proof optimizations and giving this digitally savvy team all the bells and whistles they could wish for (and maybe a few extra).
